Project

World Trade Center, Brussels

This competition entry for the redesign of the world trade center consists of two large, more or less identical towers of 30 stories each. These are joined by a common corridor across the upper 20 floors. The towers, while identical in form, contain a variety of different programs. The base of the proposal is an urban block of between 3-9 stories, which articulates itself in six different ways as a sequence of smaller buildings. This proposal achieved 2nd place.
