Project

Fruit and Agricultural Center, St-Truiden

This proposal is a finalist (honorable mention) in a competition for a knowledge and recreational center about the fruit industry in Limbrug (B / NL). The proposal re-organizes an existing suburban block into a public garden, a visitor center, retail and a residential neighborhood. An iconic orchard tower cantilevers over the nearby highway, welcoming visitors to the city. Intermodal parking, a new square, a park, as well as various retail programs organize this joint between city and periphery.
